GERMAN COURSES

Terms of payment

A registration fee of €35 must be paid to Sprachsalon Berlin no later than 10 days before the course begins. The total cost of the course must be paid no later than the first day of lessons.

Cancellation

The registration fee will be refunded on the condition that written notice of cancellation is received no later than 10 days before the beginning of the course.
A processing fee of €20 will be charged if written notice of cancellation is received later than 10 days before the course begins.
There will be no reimbursement made in the case of a withdrawal or a no-show.

Course organisation

The minimum number of participants needed to run a course is 6. If the minimum amount is not reached, course fees will be fully reimbursed. Alternatively, the beginning date of the course can be changed, or the course can be carried out with a reduced number of lessons.
Registration for one-to-one tuition is secured with a deposit of €50. Cancellations or changes of the agreed one-to-one tuition must be discussed with the office at least 24 hours before the lesson; otherwise all tuition fees will have to be paid.
The contract is automatically terminated once the course finishes.
There are no lessons on public holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities of Course Participants

It is the sole responsibility of the course participant to take out health insurance and accident, liability and personal property insurance. Sprachsalon Berlin assumes no liability in this area.
Participants are obliged to comply with the course rules and house rules applicable to Sprachsalon Berlin.

Liability of Sprachsalon Berlin

Sprachsalon Berlin and its employees are subject to liability only in case of gross negligence or intent. Neither Sprachsalon Berlin nor its employees are liable for non-performance of contractual obligations or damages to the extent that they are caused by force majeure or other reasons outside the sphere of responsibility/influence of Sprachsalon Berlin.

Data Protection

Sprachsalon Berlin collects, processes and uses the personal data of the course participant both for the purpose of registration and billing as permitted by law and under the terms of any signed declaration of consent in compliance with privacy protection laws.
